After beginning at John Sealy Hospital in Galveston, TX, Dr. Cheema completed his interventional cardiology fellowship at Methodist DeBakey Hospital in Houston, which is ranked as the best hospital in Texas and the 12th best cardiology hospital in the U.S. He completed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at St. Luke’s Medical Center and Aurora Sinai Medical Center, both in Milwaukee.
Dr. Cheema completed his internal medicine residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center and the McGuire VA Hospital, both in Richmond, VA, before completing his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in biological sciences from George Washington University in Washington, DC, where he finished summa cum laude.
Dr. Cheema is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Cardiology, the Wisconsin Medical Society and the American College of Physicians.
